Bio:

Punk rock from Cork with Mick Lynch (ex Constant Reminders) who later found fame with Stump. Mean Features were active for several years but their only vinyl appearance is the "Kaught At The Kampus" EP recorded in August 1980. They were instrumental in the opening of the Cork Musicians Collective in the Bogeda circa 1982, following the closure of Arcadia in 1981.

The band is mentioned in the Cork scene report published in Maximum Rock And Roll #12 in March 1984, suggesting they were still active at that time, four years later. Mick Lynch moved to London in November 1984, by which time the band had presumably split.

Mick Lynch later fronted Stump. Liam Heffernan became an actor, appearing in the popular TV series Glenroe. Steve O'Donoghue (who was born in the USA) joined the US Marines. Kenneth Carr played guitar with Mean Features for one gig.
