Bio:
After leaving Skid Row, Gary Moore formed his own Gary Moore Band and signed to CBS Records.
This band was initially a trio with ex Mellow Candle bassist Frank Boylan and
drummer Pearse Kelly.
Guitarist Philip Donnelly, the Clontarf Cowboy, joined later.
All appear on the debut LP 'Grinding Stone' which was originally touted as a double. It's release
was the victim of several delays. By the time it finally came out as a single LP on 20 July 1973,
Boylan and Donnelly were gone, reputedly collaborating in new group by September 1973, but it came to naught.
Moore's new bassist was John L.Curtis (ex Mike Hugg Band).
Notes: The Head Records bootleg CD adds six bonus tracks by Skid Row: three taken from the debut 'Skid' LP, both sides of the Night Of The Warm Witch 45, and 'After I'm Gone' from a BBC Top Gear radio session recorded 21 July 1970.
