Bio:
Cajun/Tex-Mex band formed by ex Rhythm Kings
guitarist Richie Taylor and Mark Venner.
Also with Peter O'Sullivan of the Stars of Heaven and possibly
Lovely Previn of In Tua Nua though the latter is unconfirmed.
The band was regularly expanded to include many more musicians on various instruments and
made live appearances well into the '90s, including famously supporting Frankie Miller and
Ronnie Wood, who played with the band at the Hackney Empire in London, in February 1991.
The band recorded a single with The Century Steel Band
from Coventry, who were very popular in Ireland. "Take It Easy" has a reggae/calypso/steel band
feel. The B-side "Fine Fine Fine" recorded with Paul Cleary is rockabilly/cajun.
Spawned the Cajun Kings.
Notes: The original issue announced for June 1988 was probably never released.
