Bio:

Indie pop/rock trio formed in Dublin in 1988. Their debut EP on Setanta "A Little Piece of God" was Single of the Week in both Melody Maker and Sounds. They signed by Polydor in 1990. Ex Cypress Mine guitarist Ian Olney joined in June 1990, just before the release of the debut LP, giving the band a more powerful sound.

In all the band released four good albums: Immigrants, Emigrants And Me (1990), 2 Hell With Common Sense (1992), Positivity (1993) and Become Yourself (1994), the first two on Polydor, the second pair on indie imprints except in Japan where they remained popular. They split sometime after.

Craig Walker later fronted Archive, and Pharmacy. Keith Walker continued with Paranoid Saints. Ian Olney later turned up in the reformed Sultans lineup.

Power of Dreams announced a reunion tour with a number of dates set for March 2010 in the UK and Ireland to mark the 20th Anniversary of the release of Immigrants, Emigrants And Me.
