Bio:
Pig were from North Belfast. The original lineup was Johnny Pig (AKA John Hunter),
Ronnie Pig (AKA Ronan Maguire), Jimi Pig and Deadly Pig (AKA Peter Curran).
Ronan Maguire (Ronnie Pig) left to join Lovers Of Today and was
subsequently in Guilty Achievements.
Jimi Pig later formed Five Boys with Davy
McLarnon (ex Shock Treatment).
John Hunter (Johnny Pig) and Peter Curran (Deadly Pig) reformed Pig
in the mid-80's with Philip Cullinane on bass, Finnoula Quinn on keyboards
and two different guitarists (anyone know their names?).
They recorded a session for Downtown Radio. They moved to London in 1984 and
played the London pub/club circuit for a few years. One of their demos was
played by John Peel. They split in the late 80's.
