Formed from various North Belfast bands: Pig,
Lovers Of Today and Reflex Action.
Guilty Achievements was formed by
Ronan Maguire (AKA Ronnie Pig) (ex Pig, Lovers Of Today),
Michael Vance (ex Lovers Of Today),
Jimi Pig (ex Pig)
and Mark Bradley (ex Reflex Action/Shock Treatment).
Guilty Achievements toured with Shock Treatment and
The Xdreamysts, and played
Dublin with Microdisney in 1981.
They played a Talking Heads style, angular gritty funk.
Jimi Pig later formed Five Boys with Davy
McLarnon (ex Shock Treatment).
Mark Bradley was also briefly in Five Boys
before he and Ron Maguire move to Bristol and joined local band The Reluctors,
and continue to play in Bristol-based bands to this day.
