Bio:
Cork's first punk band, sadly unrecorded. After Vincent Lyons left Berserk (later to
found Factor Fiction with O'Mahony and
O'Brien), a series of guitarists stepped in, including Denis Herlihy, now
probably better known for his work as recording engineer and producer for many
Cork bands (including the sublime Cypress Mine LP) but the band fizzled out.
Drummer Aidan McCarthy, the son of Joe McCarthy of Cork showband The Dixies (who
scored an Irish hit in the '60s with Leapy Lee's "Little Arrows") started a series of new bands, most notably
Romeo Butcher (punk band with future Black Velvet Band leader Kieren Kennedy),
Kidz and Adolf
Grunt, before his death in a car crash in 1981. RIP.
Mike O'Brien (lead vocals) later in Factor Fiction, Loko Parentis
