Synth wave. Ian Hanna and Stuart Bailie had both been in Acme (Music) and
Family Of Noise. The Troubleshooters evolved out of
Family Of Noise as a more
dance music oriented project. Stuart Bailie later became a noted NME journalist.
No connection (as far as I know) to the late 80s band on Kazbah.
