Bio:
When Revolver broke up,
Philip Byrne and Kevin Helly had several songs
they wished to record. Pete Holidai of the
Radiators also had a song
he wished to record.
A group was assembled for a one off recording session one weekend in 1979 at Lombard
Studios in Dublin. Also present were Dave Evans (AKA The Edge) of U2,
Dave Moloney (ex Vipers), Bill Morley (ex Revolver)
and keyboard player Gaby Smyth, who'd played piano on the Vipers single.
This one-off studio band was dubbed The Reasons.
Two of these tracks were later released in 1981 (with incomplete credits) under the
name Teen Commandments, Philip Byrne's current band.
Gaby Smyth later worked as accountant for U2.
