Active: 1978-80

Style: New Wave / Powerpop

Lineup:

Bio:

Dave Huntley was in the short-lived final line-up of The Tearjerkers in 1980. Belfast band formed in mid 78. They played regularly at the Harp Bar, Pound & QUB as well as gigs in Derry, Dublin, Omagh and Armagh to name a few spots outside Belfast. They made two television appearances. They appeared on the Belfast edition of the BBC Community programme Something Else in late 79 performing "Teenage Love Song", and also on Gloria Honeyford's Good Evening Ulster. Ultimately more a Power Pop than Punk band as the tracks which appeared on various compilations attest. P45 split in early 1980 with Huntley going on to spend some time in short-lived final incarnation of The Tearjerkers.
