Bio:
Clive Culbertson was leader of The Sweat / No Sweat.
Between 1979 and 1985 he released four solo singles.
In 2007, the Japanese reissue specialists 1977 Records reissued The Sweat's sole
LP and also issued a compilation of Culbertson's solo singles together with some
previously unreleased tracks. The Sweat reformed for 2 performances in November 2007
in Japan. This success led to Clive's latest album "Still Havin' Fun" released in 2010.
Clive runs his own No Sweat recording studio in Coleraine. He currently
fronts his own country rock band called New Moon.
He's also had a long association with the Mint Record label, appearing in the
backing band of several country+western stars (beware those Roly Daniels LPs!).
He plays bass and provides backing vocals on Rattlesnake Annie's "Tennessee
Waltz" from 1983, for example, and Roly Daniels even recorded one of his songs
as a B-side (I'm not sayign which one, so you'll have to hunt down all Roly's
singles on Mint to find out). He's also played as a session musicians with Van
Morrison and the Chieftains.
