Bio:
The members of The Storm came from in and around Monaghan Town.
The band formed in 1987 from the remnants of an earlier band called The Vision Fades,
which included Marty Smith's brother Shaun as lead singer.
Swifty joined when Shaun moved to London, where he still works as a sound engineer.
The band became The Storm.
The Vision Fades released 4 EPs but that's another story.
John Gilsenan was roadie at one stage.
Note this is a different Storm to the Dublin band on the Swimming Out Of The Pool compilation LP released in 1988.
