Schroeder's Cat was a two-piece indie rock band formed by Simon Kenny (alias Si
Schroeder) and Darragh O'Grady in Dublin, Ireland, whose influences included
My Bloody Valentine.
The released a self-titled three-track 7-inch single in 1995 on their own Otter Brand Records label.
This was followed by a self-titled four-track EP in 1998 on LA label Emperor Norton Records
owned by California oil heir Peter Getty. The EP contains four lengthy tracks.
Notes: With Dennis McNulty (keyboards). There are two unnamed instrumental pieces between the tracks. Recorded at Bow Lane Studios, Dublin in December 1997. Mastered at Whitfield Street Recording Studios, London in April 1998.
