Bio:

Rumour Has It were a pop band active circa 1982-84. They played pop songs with catchy choruses, and recorded demo in 1983 which was reminiscent of early Elvis Costello & The Attractions and Squeeze.

Martin Everard left in 1983 and was replaced by Chris Allen, the same Chris Allen who opened Atlantic Studios near The Bad Ass Café in Dublin.
