Mirror Freak

From: Dublin

Active: November 1985-

Style: Rock

Lineup:

Bio:

Previously known as New Dawn before changing their name to Mirror Freak in November 1985. They continued to use the posters they'd had printed as New Dawn with the money they'd won in the 1984 TCD Battle of the Bands competition in 1984, even though they'd change name and the photo in the poster was the old lineup with two members no longer in the band.

Mirror Freak played the Ivy Rooms, the Underground, Faces, and other venues around Dublin. The main songwriter was Ken (Ken Murphy?). Recordings for inclusion on an Owl Records compilation were started but never completed and the band split.

Peter Fitzpatrick was later in Cat Magic.
