From: Dublin?
Active: 90s
Style: Indie Rock / Noise Rock
Lineup:
- Brian Mooney - guitar, vocals
- James Eadie - keyboards
- Dec Costello - bass
- Andy Osbourne - drums
Bio:
Note this is not the band who recorded for Danceline, though they were both active
in the early 90s.
James Eadie (previously with Into Paradise) played with the band for a time.
An unreleased 1991 session contains three amazing recordings: 'Father', 'Idiot Falls' and 'Idea'.
They self released a demo tape in 1993 which Brian O'Neill liked so much he re-released it on
Dirt Records the following year.
The Idiots played regularly in The Attic and had a practice room (and studio) upstairs
from the venue. Their manager was The Attic's main sound engineer.
