Bio:

Formed in Derry in 1974 by Andrew and Kevin Monk as Mint Rock. By 1977 they were the Stardust Showband with lead singer Siobhan Murphy. They toured dance halls in Ireland and England. After the disaster at the Stardust club in Dublin, they were advised by management (Tommy Hayden Enterprises) to change their name and they became The Honey Bunch with the launch of a single on Drive Records. Siobhan sang the A-side and Andrew Monk sang the B-side (a cover of the Champagne track). The band split in 1984 when the Troubles made it difficult to cross the border safely.
