Draw Funny Animal (DFA)

From: Bangor

Active: 1981-1992

Style: Post Punk

Lineup:

Bio:

The following is paraphrased from Swedish Nurse fanzine: DFA were an obscure band from Bangor influenced by The Fall, Birthday Party and Alternative TV in their early days, who slowly developed their own wall-of-noise sound over several lineup changes, peaking around 1988-90 when they were gigging with Therapy? and supported Fugazi in Belfast in 1990. Despite a 10+ year existance they were little known outside the north and only released a few demo tapes.

lineup c1984: Stephen McBride AKA Mouse (vocals), Mark Dale (bass), Bill Aiken AKA Bill Pilgrim (guitar) and Michael Rugman (drums).

lineup c1988: Stephen McBride AKA Mouse (vocals), Mark Dale (bass), Bobz (guitar), Steve Dale (guitar) and a drum machine.
