Bio:
Goth band formed ca 1992/93.
This Burning Effigy recorded their first
2-track demo "The Eternal Procession" at Heartbeat in Dublin circa 1993.
Phil Doyle then left the band.
Subsequently signed to the Grave News label in 1994, appearing on the Dreams in the Witch House
sampler with the track "Communion with Sophia" and finally releasing their debut CD "To Bestial Gods..."
in 1996. Split in 2001. Stephen Carey now plays with ex Fields of the Nephilim band NFD.
