Not to be confused with Geraldine McKeever.

Geraldine Branagan was a memebr of The Branagans before going solo. In 1975 she recorded Luxembourg's entry for Eurovision which was written by Phil Coulter. Branagan and Coulter became partners and eventually married. Geraldine's recording career is heavily peppered with Martin/Coulter originals but their reputation as hit-makers seems to have eluded her. Even so she sustained a recording career for ten years approx, from 1975-1985, recording for EMI, CBS Ireland and Magnet. voor het Eurovisiesongfestival met het lied Fadó fadó (Long Long Ago). Ze werden vierde van de acht deelnemers.
