Bio:

Bagatelle are a good example of the kind of American sounding band that seems to come more naturally to Irish musicians compared to the UK. Bagatelle sound like they could have come from New Jersey (not necessarily a good thing!).

"Enormously successful heavily-bearded early 80s pop/rock band who specialised in sentimental piano-led ballads. Formed as a result of the Boulder Band (c1977-78) splitting into two groups, the others continuing as The Alias B Band. Three LPs on Polydor (s/t-7/1980; s/t-1981; Are We Keeping You Up?-1982). For good or ill, anyone who was alive in Ireland in May 1980 knows "Summer In Dublin". Lead singer/ pianist Liam Reilly later went solo."
